This workshop was advertised locally and hosted at the historic Gray Creek Hall. A circle of around 16 women attended a workshop designed as a way to foster community through storytelling and song learning/teaching. Participants were guided through prompts that encouraged reflection of their major life events and invited to share with the circle. The facilitator broke up the workshop with opportunities to learn simple harmony songs. Participants were encouraged to share a song they knew well. It was a wonderful event, full of laughter and authenticity.
