Janam organized a virtual chess learning session. He had 35 kids sign up initially. He taught the beginners how to play chess using a PowerPoint presentation and had them practice with each other online. He then set up a tournament for beginners and intermediate players separately. The tournament went well and some of the kids are continuing to play chess online. It was a great way to connect socially while learning a new skill. Janam had the school help him by setting up a team on Microsoft Teams. This made it easier for the kids who have been using Teams at school this year.
