Last picnic basket delivered! I’m so grateful to have been selected to receive one of the NSG grants.
As part of this project, the hope was to bring smiles to little ones faces with treats while enjoying activities outside with family or friends. Project succeeded!
Over 20 picnic baskets were prepared and delivered over the months of June/July. Most baskets were dropped off anonymously around the Hastings-sunrise neighborhood. Parents also connected with me through posts from neighborhood Facebook groups. The response was so positive. I’m glad the project set out what it wanted to do as well as possibly inspired others to apply for future grants.
