We built a little free library for the Montague Rd neighbourhood this summer. We plan to build a second library for the Active Pass neighbourhood this fall. We used a mix of salvaged and new materials for the libraries in the spirit of reduce reuse recycle that is epitomized by the lending culture of little free libraries. Neighbours are contributing books and artistic inspiration for the paintings on the side of the libraries. Hand sanitizer and guest books will be in both libraries. We hope the island community gets a lot of enjoyment from these libraries for years to come! Thank you for supporting this fun project.
