The event “Nature Photos at Copley Community Orchard” was very well received by the community. The project was led by volunteers at Copley Community Orchard and community artist Brittney Appleby. Participants could identify plants, including native flowers in the orchard while improving their nature photography skills.The event also included music performances by local musicians Jim Dery (Violinist) and Helga Toppazzini (Accordionist), adding to the overall festive atmosphere.
We are so pleased that the orchard has become an even more productive and beautiful space for the community to enjoy. The event successfully promoted a sense of togetherness while respecting social distancing guidelines. A HUGE thank you to Neighbourhood Small Grants.
