After seeing some inspiring post in other communities I decided to apply for a grant to make care packages for the senior and vulnerable members of my community. I wanted to reach out to let them know that even though this last year has been difficult and trying for many there are still people out there thinking about them.
My husband and I shopped for items we thought households would appreciate and put together care bags for delivery. We placed the bag at the front door and then took a few steps back so we could ensure they were all received. What a great experience to see so many smiling faces!
