Our event was to take place in our local park, however it was during the extreme cold weather so lucky enough we were able to move it to the sea island community centre. We served hot latkes that some locals volunteered to make. Hot chocolate, cookies and treats were also served. The kids loved it we had sticker crafts and glow sticks for them. We decorated and had fire pits outside, however most people stayed inside because it was freezing. We had a local family lead everyone in carolling and we had a screen with lyrics to follow along. Santa showed up and handed out candy canes. It was lovely seeing our neighbours before the holidays, even with the weather being what it was, we still had a wonderful time.
