I believe my Ceramic painting event went very well as everyone seemed to enjoy drawing and painting on their tile. We prepped the paints, ceramic trays, pain brushes, pencils, snacks and drinks a few hours before our event. The event seemed to go very smoothly as we had no big hiccups in our plan and all had a lot of fun. I think our event was so successful because we prepared well and everyone in my team had a role to play in preparing for this event. For example, we split the roles by having some people buy the materials (like paints and brushes) and having others help out in making bubble tea for the people coming. It was fun learning how to work in a team and organizing how to make our plan turn into a reality. Due to our cooperation with each other and passion to invite many to enjoy, our event was a great success for others to enjoy and a learning opportunity for the hosts in learning how to hold a successful event.

Some challenges that we faced are the material shipping time, most of the materials came on time but we couldn’t use some drawing materials as they took too long to ship. Luckily we could do without them but it did cause a bit of stress for us. We managed to get by with just using paint the whole time instead of multiple art mediums. Another point is that we could’ve probably used different cups for the paint water to dip your brushes in and the drink cups. Luckily we had no incidents of someone drinking paint water, but for the future it’s probably more wise to just buy two cups that don’t look alike at all, to ensure no confusion will happen.

Overall, our project was a huge success and everyone had a fun time snacking, drinking bubble tea and making a souvenir they can bring home. Our team also learned a lot in this experience with working together to create a lovely environment where everyone can enjoy being together with others.
