I gave 12 Chinese brush painting lessons to people who are interested. I informed people around me, included the Mission Art Council. The classes went great. I designed these lessons for beginners. In the class, I gave detailed information base on where we live, like where and how to find the tools. Also, I introduced some Chinese culture. I hope this can connect people in different cultures to understand each other, especially under the pandemic.
All those videos are saved on my YouTube channel, and people could easily access any time and anywhere. I got lots of visitors and messages to thank me. I have to say, thank you Vancouver Foundation, because of your grant, I was able to build my art channel.I used the money on good lights and materials.I have received more than 1000 followers. It was great to connect people together, and I hope to join more projects like this.
