The Carnival was a success; the community gathered, and kids came to the section where the balloon artist was making all sorts of cool figures with colourful balloons. We teamed up with the school PAC to put together the carnival and the free balloon artist booth was sponsored with the funds provided by the grant. Some of the challenges that we encountered while planning on how to use the grant to support the event was identifying some sort of entertainment that aligns with the rules on how to use the grant, but we were very grateful for the neighbourhoods small grants team guidance.
