Yay community outreach! A while ago I applied for a Small Neighbourhood Community grant and proposed to teach a complimentary Fluid Pour Painting class to seniors in the West End.
They chose my project and I was able to teach it last week at the Barclay Manor Thank you Gordon Neighbourhood House!
Things that I love about this project:
1. Giving back to the community
2. Spreading laughter and happiness
3. Anyone can be creative and have fun making art
4. Witnessing support between students and the care they have for each other
5. Having a 12 year old friend help with the class
6. Making art accessible to everyone
