My event, Make Curry Dishes was incredibly successful.
1, the event.
About 30 people from the 5 high-rise buildings around King George Station and other apartments have joyfully crowed in the party room of the apartment. An instructor told them how to make curry dishes, show them the curry dishes she has made at her home in the morning and gave them a plate of curry dishes to taste.
Then people ate other kinds of delicious dishes that were made by participants of this event.
People also have had some fruits, snacks and drinks.
After very rich lunch, people made a lot of fun together. Some of them sang songs, some of them showed their dances and some of them played the instrument skillfully.
From the beginning to the end of the event, people did much works willingly, including preparing the party room orderly, moving foods and stuffs, looking after old seniors, passing dishes to people and cleaning the room at end of the event.
While they were doing works, they were talking each other friendly. At the end of the party, they got very closer than before in their heart, because some of them became friends though they did not know each other before the event, some exchanged their contact numbers and promised to make a phone call late and some hope to attend the gathering like this event next year.
2, a moving statement.
May Zhang, a senior living 9981 building, gave her impression to people in the event. She said she is living in BC about 25 years, but she never knows to make curry dishes, because she just knows Chinese dishes in her life. Though she watched Indian people have curry dishes very tasty in the restaurant and smelled the smell of the curry dishes from her neighbor’s home, she never thinks she is going to make it. At this event, she learned the way to make curry dishes easily and found it is delicious. She said from now she can share some conversation with her Indian neighbors like making and tasting curry dishes. She said she could come to this event, to learn the skill of making food and to have a lot of fun with people, because we got the fund of NSG from Vancouver Foundation. The NSG is good.
3, What I learned from my event.
A, we should like, and respect people round us in our community. So, we can become friends.
B, we should work hard for the people living in our community willingly. So, they will come and 3, What I learned from my event.

B, we should work hard for the people living in our community willingly. So, they will come and support my event like this time, if we hold a gathering again.
C, we should treat the found from NSG seriously, including making a good plan, uploading the event information before the event, preparing the enough and delicious food and gift for the event using the fund, uploading the story and the pictures of the event. So, there will be more people get know each other in our community about NSG.
Increasing our social circle in our community, making a better life in Canada is the purpose of the NGS, I believe.
