Thank you again for the grant to assist in the building of our little community library. Construction was finished in the late fall and our library has been up and running for a couple of months. The recognition plaque is now in place – like the cherry on a sundae.
This has been such a great addition to our neighbourhood and such a FUN project to do. From its basic concept to the finished product, it was exciting to watch an idea become reality, to work through the practical aspects, and to make it attractive and interesting to catch people’s attention. Little extras were nice fun, finishing touches, and gave the library personality.
My regular stops show that there’s a constant revolving supply of books – both for adults and for children, so we know that there have been many visitors. The library looks so cute and bright on the roadside and it makes me smile every time I pass by.
