We want to approach kids to join in gardening. We decorated the garden to welcome kids. We put more shovels, gloves, watering cans and decorations.
We had an event for making seed paper with kids. Prepared seeds from the community garden and told them how to make them.
The material of paper also we cut coloured paper and soaked it for a few hours. Blended and squeezed out water.
After sprinkling flower seeds on the paper, it took several hours to dry. And ready to go plant. Those kids who joined the event had fun for making them seem like. Some kids came back to make several more.
I believe the event brings a feeling of familiarity with gardening to kids and parents. I hope they want to grow something in the pot or their garden for next season!
