This project was aimed at bringing kids of all ages together and appreciating everyone’s talent. We held a small talent show where people performed piano, violin, singing and many more. Over 13 kids and even more parents came to enjoy this show. This project helped kids come out of their shell and perform for other people. We also bought food, such as pizza, subway, sushi, chips, and fruits & veggies. There were also drinks, like juice boxes and soda. After the performances, we also played some games, such as “baby in the air” and “Mafia” In the end, all the children got little gifts, like pencil crayons and math sets, conveniently useful when school starts. This project helped the community by helping everyone get together and communicate with new people. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to our talent show on August 24th, 2019!

Neighbourhood Small Grants
We believe the best people to effect change in a community are the ones within it. And when we can make money less of an issue in doing so, it allows so many more kinds of ideas to shine.
