The building of the Library went just great! A grant from the Vancouver Foundation got it all started. Neighbours got involved with the construction. The North Van District Parks Department assisted in locating and installing the supports for the library.
Local businesses participated: Urban Repurpose donated the initial cabinet and Cloverdale Paint donated the paint. Local artists, Hans and Ghyslaine Gray provided the artwork. An opening celebration provided the neighbourhood an enjoyable event!
