The purpose of our brochure is to inform local residents of the destructive nature of invasive species, especially English Ivy. Our work parties, manned by volunteers, work for several weeks twice each year in authorized Town of Comox areas – private property is out of bounds – we are hoping that property owners, once they realize the damage ivy and other invasives, such as lamium and periwinkle are causing, they shall remove these plants from their property.
For more information, pick up a copy at numerous locations throughout the Town of Comox. Also see the Comox Valley Recreation Guide Fall 2021 (Page26) for more information.

In addition to the financial assistance from the Comox Valley Community Foundation – Neighbourhood Small Grants Program (printing of 1000 x brochures), and the Town of Comox (outdoor brochure holders), we have been fortunate to have the volunteer expertise of Ernst Vegt (Coast Imaging Arts) who created the digital brochure for the printers. Your assistance is much appreciated !
