Thanks to Neighbourhood Small Grants, Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives, and the Vancouver Foundation our community had it’s 2nd annual BBQ!
Our turnout was overwhelming (we had to send someone for more food twice!) To those organizing this was more of a welcome surprise than a concern! Families, couples young and old, and retail partners in the area, all gathered and shared food, drinks, and conversation.
Residents who came last year were grateful the event continued. Newcomers were happy to learn they were part of such a caring community.
We heard from many who look forward to it being an annual event!
