Great. We had 230 participants from 60 different nations and featured our refugee’s culture and food among all the other nation’s foods, languages, and cultural artifacts. We had music in different languages and paraded everyone’s flags. Fortunately, we set up canopies in the parking lot because it sprinkled as we started. Some of the food had to be moved indoors. We had about 30-40 volunteers helping with various aspects of the event and each group brought their own food items – the shwarma was a treat. We sent out flyers into the neighbourhood and encouraged friends to invite others.
