Sometimes the simplest gestures mean the most. We set about expressing gratitude to our hospital workers for their tireless dedication. The grade 4-7 French classes of Whiteside Elementary received our contactless drop of paint, brushes and rocks, then paint messages of gratitude. We contacted Richmond Hospital Foundation to learn the best 3 places to display our Appreciation Rocks so staff would see them, and they helped us make sure we reached the most staff possible. They also distributed word of the project to staff so they could see our messages of love. The children felt great creating these simple works of art, and the school was proud to be a part of making hospital staff feel appreciated. Win win!
