The Nepali Canadian Community in Metro Vancouver had organised a potluck picnic/ Nepali cultural dance show to promote Nepali arts and culture contributing to the Canadian mosaic on June 23rd Saturday 2018 at the Bear Creek Park, Surrey . It was open to everyone in the local community and therefore turnout was about 200 people from different communities. Everybody brought and shared different kinds of food, making it a very enjoyable event for all. At the end of the picnic about 20 Nepali Canadian artists performed 10 different Nepali Cultural dances, which added an extra kick to spice up the event. Through this event we were able to create a platform to network, socialize and share the different kinds of cultural foods. All the participants enjoyed the foods, friendship and networking. Thanks a lot to Oak Neighborhood Hub Society for the small grant to organize this event.
