I set out to plan beach days with snacks and sand toys so that families could just show up and have a chance to connect with other families! We have so many beaches in town that I just thought it would be awesome if we all picked the same one at the same time! Unfortunately it rained every single time I had chosen as the time to get together but people still came, the kids especially didn’t seem to care that it was raining. I invited everyone I know with young families and they were encouraged to invite anyone they knew too. I think it was successful in my eyes and I’d definitely do it again!
