Ours is a simple tale of a small neighbourhood who regularily gets to together during the warmer months to celebrate birthdays and other events with a potluck bbq. We applied for the funding to purchase lawnchairs with side tables attached. We were fortunate that they went on sale and we were able to buy more than expected! Now when we come together the older neighbours do not need to struggle with bringing chairs and their potluck dishes. Our inaugural event this year was to celebrate a 90th birthday, followed by stat holidays, other birthdays, and summer visitors. The neighbours really appreciate the fancy new chairs. Thank you for this opportunity.
