The 3rd Dance Party in the Park
A small team of volunteers put in the work to make this event a success! They planned and booked early to ensure the location. They emailed and did outreach in the community to have as many different booths with varied activities for all guests. Support from the local City helped with promotions and getting the word out.
The morning of there was a booth sending their regrets and the bouncy castle had to be cancelled, both due to Rain.
Despite the rainy day it was well attended, but in the future the plan will be to get a few tents for back up for weather if need.
Had lots of community groups involved giving lots of options for activity and support for others.
