My idea started when I got my dog Rosie. Who gets overstimulated very easily, not just when she was a puppy but now, too. I learned that having unattended or otherwise uncontained dogs can be a very big problem, more than I think we realize, for both dogs and humans. 23 people applied for delightful Dog packages and were very excited and grateful to receive the toy and information. It made me feel successful and hopeful that I tried to make a difference in keeping people and dogs safer and more comfortable, even in our small town of Kaslo. Here’s some feedback from one recipient: “I absolutely love this. My dog is not friendly when approached by other dogs. This is a great message for people with dogs. Thank you for doing this.”
