Thanks to support from the Neighbourhood Small Grant, “Moms in Bloom” blossomed into a beautiful community project in Port Moody. Since January , we’ve hosted monthly gatherings for new moms and their babies — and what started as a simple idea grew into something truly special.
Over 30 moms from Port Moody and the Trictities joined us throughout the months, coming together to exchange resources, share mom hacks, and enjoy baby playdates at local Port Moody businesses. Each meetup offered space for connection, support, and laughter. We even had monthly giveaways to add a little extra joy!
While the activities were fun, the heart of Moms in Bloom was all about creating community. Many moms came seeking support — and left with new friendships, both for themselves and for their babies.
