We waited for Halloween to present our project.
Created a Facebook Event, put up posters in our neighbourhood. Our very old community has had a major revitalization with over ten new subdivision and housing complexes.
We offered up a BBQ, hot chocolates and a haunted house to get to know the neighbours. Over 50 people stopped by and shared stories throughout the afternoon and evening. Phone numbers and emails exchanged hands, memories made and hopefully friendships as well.
Thank you to this project for help with buying supplies and we will be making this an annual event.
