Our project aimed to spread the word that mathematics is around us and to foster people to reimagine their relationship with mathematics by connecting to the place they live and learn. We consider the math walks an opportunity for parents to explore the beauty of math and to reflect on the fact that all of us are mathematical. Furthermore, their children learned about mathematics in an alternative learning setting that boosted their curiosity.
