This project included 10 peers interested in learning about music and the benefits of creating music. The event was open to anyone wanting to learn how to create music with the music equipment provided. Participants each briefly introduced themselves to the group and asked what interested them in the event. Snacks and pizza were served during the event. I felt this class would be a necessity for wellness especially to people who are street entrenched who feel alone and hopeless. I feel this way because my experience with substance use and music are so related, due to the fact that they create the same pleasure centers in the brain. With music creating the same effects that drugs create it can easily be used as a replacement when the heart, mind, soul align.

Highlights of the Event:
Giving peers an opportunity to learn the benefits and therapy of creating and listening to music and creating it.
