“Poetry with Desserts: Anything Goes/Fall 2026”
September 24, 2026
The day of Thursday, September 24, 2026, was cool and it started to rain as we gathered at Matteo’s Gelato for the Event. This Event was supported by Neighborhood Small Grants. There were 21 people in attendance. There was the Guest Book table and the Storybook Game. There was a free gelato or a coffee for the Audience to enjoy as they watched the Show. The Show included some jokes, an interactive poem, and lots of great, creative poetry. The Show not only included 5 Poets but also had 3 guest Poets, as well. The atmosphere in the room was close-knit and warm, as the audience could relate to the soulful poetry that was read. There was lots of clapping and laughter. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Some comments from the audience:
“Such great energy! Amazing!” – Leo
“So much fun!” – Charlotte
“Once again, a pleasure!” – Pat
